Ghouls

I went to see the Tim Burton exhibition which was fantastic. Ghoulish sketches in abundance, so many you really need a whole morning and afternoon to knock fellow viewers out of the way to take it all in. I loved the little documentary where he said that when he worked for Disney he realised wearing stripey socks made him feel much more grounded. Noodle.

Amyl Nitrate

Rule Britannia is one of my favorite songs, by Jordan of Vivienne Westwoods SEX shop fame. From the punk film Jubilee 1978. This has been known to make me dance on my head and chase boys from parties wielding my vicious Chanel handbag.

Bob Mackie Barbie Doll

The National Transport and Toy Museum in Wanaka is amazing. Vintage cars, trucks, 1 million Barbies, old motorcycles, porcelain dolls, fighter jets, Star Wars toys, salt and pepper shakers. Go there

Night People

Gah, Barry Gifford is such a good story teller. If you remember I've waxed lyrical about this author before. He wrote the story of Sailor and Lula which was made into the coolest film (Wild at Heart) by David Lynch.
Well I've been readin' this by camp fire to my man all holiday.
